Biography
She was born on January 3 (16), 1914 (according to other sources - September 10 [2] ) in the village of Nizhny Dzhengutai (now the Buinaksk district of Dagestan [3] ) (according to other sources - in Makhachkala [4] and Temir Khan-Shur ( now Buinaksk) [2] ).
After the death of her father, she was brought up in the family of an uncle - the famous cultural figure of Dagestan Tatam Muradov, which had a decisive influence on the choice of life path. From an early age she performed in concerts, participated in amateur performances and the first theatrical productions.
In 1926 - 1928 - soloist of the Dagestan Radio Committee in Makhachkala.
In 1930 , at the end of the music and drama technical school, she joined the troupe of the Kumyk musical and drama theater, newly formed on the basis of the collective of the technical school (since 1955 - named after A.P. Salavatov ) ( Makhachkala ).
During her work in the theater, she created more than 200 scenic images. She played roles in tragedies and vaudeville, domestic comedies and dramatic dramas: Susan ("Namus" by A. M. Shirvanzade ), Kystaman ("Red Partisans" by A. P. Salavatov ), Jumaisat ("Molla Nasretdin" by M. Kurbanova), Shakerkhan (“Under the tree” by G. A. Rustamov ), Dzhaminat (“Irchi Kazak” M.-S. Y. Yakhyayev), Zhivka (“Madame Minister” B. Nushich ).
She possessed a beautiful voice, performed in mountain villages with the performance of folk, heroic and everyday songs (many of which were processed by her).
Member of the Supreme Council of the Dagestan ASSR of the 1st convocation, Supreme Council of the USSR of the 5th convocation (1958-1962). Member of the Soviet Peace Committee .
Died June 3, 2001 in Makhachkala. She was buried in a Muslim cemetery along the street of General Omarov (formerly Hungarian Fighters).

- Husband - Alim Salimkhanovich Kurumov (1911-1974), actor, director of the Kumyk Music and Drama Theater named after A.P. Salavatova. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1960).
- Daughter - Inessa Alimovna Kurumova (1936-2015), actress of the Makhachkala Russian Music and Drama Theater. A. M. Gorky . People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2005).
- Daughter - Bella Alimovna Muradova (born 1940), the first woman sculptor in Dagestan.
- According to some sources, she was also married to Niyazi Zulfugar oglu Tagizade-Hajibeyov ( 1912 - 1984 ), an Azerbaijani conductor , composer . People's Artist of the USSR ( 1959 ) [5] .
