About Soundtrack
Most of the soundtrack was produced by Rick Rubin . The soundtrack was very successful and took the 31st place in the American Billboard 200 chart [1] and the 22nd line in the Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums chart [1] , and on February 8, 1988 received the status of gold.
Four singles written for the soundtrack also hit the Billboard charts. A cover version of The Chi-Lites' old song “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So)” [2] performed by Black Flames and Public Enemy ’s song “Bring the Noise” [3] achieved little success on the R&B chart, however “Going Back to Cali ” LL Cool J and the cover version of The Bangles of the song“ A Hazy Shade of Winter ”, originally owned by the duo Simon and Garfunkel , took the 31st and 2nd lines on the Billboard Hot 100 , respectively [2] .
