The Political Encyclopedia Publishing House (formerly known as the Russian Political Encyclopedia ; ROSSPEN ) is a Russian scientific publishing company specializing in historical literature. Founded in 1991 . He is the leading publisher of archival documents and scientific papers on Russian and Soviet history of the 20th century [1] .

Activity
In the second half of the 1990s, she published several scientific commented publications on the works of ancient and medieval authors in the series Classics of Antiquity and the Middle Ages: Herodian , Justin , Aurelius Victor , Einhard , Richer Reimsky, and others. In the early 2000s she published several publications in "Russian Historical Library" series: Gregory Kotoshikhin , Nicholas Marhotsky and others.
At the end of the 2000s, the ROSSPEN publishing house, together with the Foundation of the first President of Russia, B. N. Yeltsin, produced the series History of Stalinism , which included works by both Russian and foreign scientists. This project was nominated for the International Publishers Association Award [2] . Another large project of ROSSPAN - “Library of Russian social thought from the most ancient times to the beginning of the XX century” in 119 volumes - in 2010 received the award of the all-Russian competition “Book of the Year” [3] . The publishing house has several UNESCO awards [1] .
