Geography
The place where the Atysh river, after flowing along the Atyshskaya glade, abuts against rocks and goes underground. The name of Bashkir origin, is translated as "Atysh dived" [2] or "Atysh failed" [3] .
Atysh-Sumgan is part of the Atysh system (it also includes Dalnaya, Tender, Zapovednaya (Bear) caves, Verkhnyaya, Atysh, Siphon and Atysh - the ancient outlets of the Atysh stream to the channel of the Lemeza River ).
The place where the Atysh stream leaves under the ground (Atyshsumgan) at an altitude of 276 meters, with the output of the Atysh waterfall - 174 meters, so the difference is about a hundred meters. Sometimes the Atysh waterfall, which is the exit to the surface of the Atysh river that has gone into the karst, is also called Atyshsumgan.
