It begins in a hollow between the mountains of Balasan and Kudryash [3] . It flows in a north-westerly direction, in the upper course along the mountains, in the middle and lower reaches - along the plain covered with a birch forest [3] . It flows into the Kitilgin river on the right at a distance of 63 km from its mouth [2] at an altitude of 141.4 meters above sea level [3] .
According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Anadyro-Kolyma Basin District .
