During its existence, the show received several dozen prestigious awards and nominations. The show was nominated 42 times in total for an Emmy Award, winning 13 awards, including the 1988 Best Drama Series Award. The show also won two Golden Globes awards: " For Best Drama Series " in 1988, and Patricia Wattig won the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 1990.
In 2002, Thirtysomething ranked 19th on the list of “The Fifty Greatest TV Shows of All Time by the TV Guide ” [1] .
