Prokljanskoe lake ( Croatian. Prokljansko jezero ) - a lake in Croatia , in the county of Sibenik-Knin . It is located in the lower reaches of the Krka River , 10 km north of Sibenik and 2 km west of Skradin . A kilometer above Lake Krku crosses the A1 highway bridge , and even higher on the Krka River is Skradin and a cascade of waterfalls in the Krka National Park . Ten kilometers below Lake Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea near Sibenik.

The area of the lake is 11.11 km², Proklyanskoe Lake is the fourth largest body of water in Croatia and the second largest natural lake in the country after Lake Vrana . The greatest depth is 25 meters, the height of the water edge above sea level is 0.5 m meters [1] . The lake has an oval shape, slightly elongated from north to south, the banks are extremely indented. The depths are distributed unevenly in the lake, in the southern part the depth of the lake varies from 20 to 25 meters, while in the northern part the average depth does not exceed 4 m.
In the northern part of the lake is the only island on the lake Stipanets, on which there are medieval ruins. On the shores of the lake are two villages - Raslin and Pruklyan.
