The son of furniture manufacturer Otto Wretling, in his youth also engaged in the manufacture of piece furniture. He studied sculpture under the leadership of Carl Milles , also studied in Italy and France. He worked on the sculptural decoration of a number of prominent Swedish churches, including the Church of St. George in Stockholm. The author of urban sculptures installed in various Swedish cities, for example, the “New Wings” sculpture was installed in the cities of Sala and Falköping , as well as at the Stockholm Arlanda Airport [4] , the sculpture “First Boat” in the city of Sigtuna on the shore of Lake Mälaren and Stockholm in the Nobel park.
