Wiszabrodski pass ( Czech. Vyšebrodský průsmyk ) is a pass near the Czech town of Vyšší Brod , separating the mountain umava and Novogradsk mountains . Located on the state border between Austria and the Czech Republic at an altitude of 752 m. The old road from the Danube to Bohemia has led through the pass since ancient times of Rome . Now through the pass passes the road. Near the pass is the southernmost point of the Czech Republic.
