Magdalena Sibylla of Saxe-Weissenfels ( German: Magdalena Sibylla von Sachsen-Weißenfels ; September 2, 1648 , Halle - January 7, 1681 , Gotha ) - Princess of Saxe-Weisenfelskaya and Querfurt from the Albertine line of the Wettins , in the marriage of the Duchess of Saxony-Gothenburg-Gainsen .

Biography
Magdalena Sibylla is the eldest daughter of the Duke Augustus of Saxe-Weissenfelsky and his wife Anna Maria of Mecklenburg-Schwerinsky , daughter of the Duke of Adolf Frederick I of Mecklenburg-Schwerinsky . Named after paternal grandmother, Elector of Saxony Magdalena Sibylla of Prussia .
On November 14, 1669, Magdalena Sibylla married the Crown Prince of Saxe-Gotha, Frederick I , who served as the viceroy of his father in Altenburg , and since 1674 he reigned in Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg as prince regent, and since 1675 - as the duke. Magdalena Sibylla died at the age of 32 and was buried in the princely tomb of the castle church in Friedenstein .
