Emblem Description
The shield is divided horizontally into blue and green fields. In the blue field are three golden ancient stone statues . In the lower field is a red flower. In the upper red part of the shield is the name of the city in gold.
Coat of Arms
The blue field symbolizes the sky and the Yenisei River . Images of golden statues remind of the only collection of stone sculptures in Abakan in the world. A green field denotes the steppe surrounding the city. Flower " frying " - a characteristic element of the local flora, symbolizes the prosperity of the city.
