Rechitsa is a village in the Zhukovsky district of the Bryansk region as part of the Ovstugsky rural settlement .
Located on the right bank of the Desna , 2 km east of the village Ovstug . The population is 475 people ( 2010 ).

History
First mentioned in the "Lithuanian Metric" of the XV century . From 1610 it is known as the possession of the Panyutins (the ancestors of F. I. Tyutchev ), who later transferred the center of their estates to Ovstug ; later also Bakhtin , Nebolsiny and other landowners [1] .
The parish church of St. Nicholas has been mentioned since the beginning of the 17th century ; In 1809, a stone church building was built at the expense of the Tyutchevs (not preserved). In 1895 a parochial school was opened [1] .
In the XVII - XVIII centuries. the village was part of the Podgorodny camp of the Bryansk district ; from 1861 to 1929 in the Ovstugsky volost of Bryansk (from 1921 - Bezhitsky ) district, where it was the largest settlement [1] .
From 1929 in the Zhukovsky district. Until 1960, it was the center of the Rechitsa village council [1] .
In September 1941, the headquarters of the 290th rifle division was located in Rechitsa [2] .
