The length of 3.15 km.
It runs from Victory Avenue to Stetsenko Street . It arose in the 1st third of the 20th century as part of the Gostomel highway (along with parts of Stetsenko and Gorodskaya Streets). In 1973 it was separated under the modern name given in honor of the Soviet aircraft designer A.N. Tupolev .

Since February 2019, most of the street (from Estonian Street to Stetsenko Street) has been under reconstruction (replacement of utilities and pavement, improvement of the pedestrian zone, expansion of the roadway). [1] [2]
