It begins in a wooded area [4] . It flows in a southeast direction among birch-larch forests [5] . In the lower reaches flows through the swamps. It flows into the Kamchatka River on the left at a distance of 202 km from its mouth [3] opposite the island of Ryzhiy [6] .

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Anadyro-Kolyma Basin District .
