History
First mentioned in 1457 . The parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker has been mentioned since 1626 ; The last temple building was built in 1854 (since 1861 it was called Troitsky , it has not been preserved). In the XVIII - XIX centuries. - possession of the Podlinyevs, Bakhtins , Meshchersky and other landowners.
In the XVII - XVIII centuries. was part of the Undercity camp of the Bryansk district ; from 1861 to 1929 in the Ovstug volost of the Bryansk (from 1921 - Bezhitsky ) county, from 1929 in the Zhukovsky district. Until 1960, it was the center of the Belogolovsky village council.
