Afiyaddin Jalil oglu Jalilov ( azerb. Afiyəddin Cəlil oğlu Cəlilov ) is an Azerbaijani political and statesman.

Biography
Afiyaddin Jalilov was born on August 1, 1946 in the city of Nakhichevan, Nakhichevan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Azerbaijan SSR.
In 1969 he graduated from the Leningrad Mining Institute. G.V. Plekhanov and in 1981 the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU in Moscow.
After graduating from a mining institute until 1973, he worked at the salt mines in Nakhichevan as an electrician, and later as a chief mechanic.
From 1973 to 1979 he worked at the Komsomol and party work: he was elected successively as secretary, second secretary, first secretary of the Nakhchivan Komsomol regional committee, secretary of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Azerbaijan.
From 1979 to 1981 - Inspector of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan.
In 1981, he was elected first secretary of the Nasimi District Party Committee of Baku.
In 1989, he was elected first secretary of the Nakhchivan Republican Committee of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan.
From 1989 to 1991 - Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, then Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
In 1990-1991 - member of the Central Committee of the CPSU .
In 1991 he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
September 29, 1994 was killed.
He was buried in the Alley of Honor in Baku .
