Ship history
The diesel-electric ship was built in 2000 under the name Europa at the Schepswerf Grave shipyard in the Netherlands and partially modernized in 2006–2007. Sans Souci is operated in the spring-autumn season on the lines between Stralsund and Berlin along the German islands in the Baltic Sea, as well as through Stettin and Oder, between Hamburg , Hanover and Berlin and Dresden or Prague on the Elbe, as well as on Havel , the Kiel Canal , Srednegermanskom the channel and the hall . The ship also makes charter flights on request. Sans Souci is driven by Veth steering screws with a power of 405 kW each, and two-channel 265 kW power canisters are installed in the nose. The current output is provided by two 210 kVA diesel generators. Since in Germany a lot of old bridges with a low span height, the deckhouse and all superstructures and rails on the upper deck are lowered or folded.
