Kushida, Yoshio

Yoshio Kushida ( Jap. 串 田 嘉 男 Kushida Yoshio , September 19, 1957 ) is a Japanese astronomer and seismologist who is the discoverer of numerous small comets and asteroids. From 1989 to January 2010, together with other Japanese astronomers, a total of 56 asteroids were discovered [1] . In addition, he discovered several comets, for example, comet 144P / Kushida , as well as the periodic comet 147P / Kushida-Muramatsu (English) .
