Concert for Diana ( Russian Concert for Diana ) - a memory concert, organized in honor of Diana, Princess of Wales . It took place at the new Wembley Stadium (which was commissioned March 9, 2007 ) in London , July 1, 2007 . On this day, the princess would have turned 46 years old. In addition, a memorial date dedicated to the 10th anniversary of her death (August 31) also passed in 2007. The event was organized by the sons of Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry , who helped organize the performances of many world famous singers and artists.

The concert was broadcast in 140 different countries of the world [1] , with a potential audience of 500 million people [2] [3] . In December 2006, 22,500 tickets went on sale, they were all sold out in just 17 minutes [1] , a total of 63,000 people came to Wembley Stadium to watch the show and commemorate Diana [1] [4] [5] . At the end of the show, a mounted video with shots of little Diana was shown, it was broadcast to the accompaniment of Queen 's song “ These Are the Days of Our Lives ” [6] .
The concert began at 16:00 ( British Daylight Saving Time ) and ended at about 22:15 - during the concert there were two short pauses.
The 2-disc edition, containing the full version of the concert, was released on DVD on November 5, 2007 . The Blu-ray concert edition , featuring the full version of the show and the documentary, went on sale in November 2008 .
