Geographical position
The village of Awakening is located on the right slope of the Kobylnaya beam, along the bottom of which the drying river Kobylyana flows , on the opposite bank is the village of Vershina . The highway T-0803 passes through the village.
History
It was founded in 1823 by German immigrants from West Prussia [2] . In 1923, by order of the Mariupol District Executive Committee to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the October Revolution, the village of Tsarskoye was renamed Awakening [3] .
