French Football League Cup 2011/2012 - The 18th draw of the French Football League Cup . The tournament started on July 22, 2011 , the final match was played on April 14, 2012 at the Stade de France stadium in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis . The winner of the tournament qualified for the third qualifying round of the Europa League 2012/13 .

Round One
The draw for the first round was held on June 24, 2011 at the headquarters of the French Football Federation . In the first round, 24 clubs were to participate: 20 clubs from League 2 and 4 clubs from League 3 ( Grenoble , Nime Olympic , Vannes and Strasbourg ). The first round matches were held on July 22 and 23, 2011. [1] Due to financial problems, he was stripped of his professional status and removed from the Strasbourg tournament. The rival of Strasbourg in the first round of Boulogne automatically passes into the second round. On July 12, the French Football Federation confirmed that Grenoble would be removed from the tournament due to liquidation and that its rival Chateauroux would automatically enter the second round.
