Nykhas or Nykhas ( Ossetia . Nykhas - literally “conversation, speech, conversation”) is the name of the place of assembly, which played the role of social self-organization of Ossetian society. In the Nart epic, Nyhohas denotes the place of the general meetings of the Narts.

Nart epic
Narts were going to the gangsters to make important decisions. Nykhas could be assembled both in open spaces and indoors. On the narts nyhas came only men. In the Nart epic, the Nart youth also came to them, who had the right to vote. The rules of the relationship between the Nartas clans of Alagat , Akhsartagkat and Borat were established on the terms. Ossetian society
