The quiet life of a small town is turned upside down when a woman named Alicia appears in the house of one of the most respected and wealthy women, Dona Perfekty Blanco. This woman is the mother of the grandchildren of Perfects, the wife of her eldest son Amador, for the murder of whom Alicia went to jail. Now all she wants is to bring back her sons, the twins Filipe and Duvan.

Naturally, the Perfect is not happy to see her daughter-in-law in the house, which means that a real battle will begin for the children. In a hopeless situation, Alicia accepts a generous offer from a mysterious old man named Justino Brignon, whom everyone in the village considers to be a vampire, since he leaves his house only at night.

Meanwhile, fate was destined for Alicia and the younger brother of her husband and the son of Donja Perfekta, handsome Diego, to unite their fates. However, before the young people find their happiness, they will have to go through many trials, in particular the “resurrection” of Amador, who wants to return his wife, the intrigues of falling in love with Diego, the Illuminadas, the hatred of Dona Perfecta, and also the strange behavior of twins with unusual abilities.

In addition, the town hides its secrets. For example, no one knows that, in their youth, Perfect and Justino were in love with each other, and the father of Illuminad, the lawyer of Urbino, is a swindler who performs fraud with documents. And who is this mysterious singer wearing a mask at a local nightclub under the pseudonym Pantherita?

Over time, it turns out that Pantherita is Aide, who dreamed of a career as a singer, but was forced to abandon her dreams because of her mother, who considers this a profession of an unworthy girl from a decent family. In addition, Aide is in love with Dr. Dimas, a family friend and doctor Dona Perfekty, but Dimas does not pay attention to Aide. Then she makes him fall in love with Panther, and then publicly humiliates him with refusal. The Illuminadas begin an affair with Amador, and the girl’s father begins a local teacher who teaches with the twins. Meanwhile, relations between Alicia and the Perfect are warming, because now it is completely clear that she did not kill Amador, who faces a prison for fraud. Don Justino also does not sit idle - he opens a hotel in the city, and Alicia bequeaths the business and all his property. Soon, an elderly man is overtaken by misfortune - a heart attack occurs with him, and Justino dies. Alicia becomes a successful and respected woman.
