Radisson Blu Hotel ( English Radisson BLU Hotel ) (original Radisson Blu Hotel ) original name Radisson SAS Hotel ( English Radisson SAS Hotel ), - a hotel in Tallinn , located 1300 meters from the zero-distance plate on Town Hall Square, at the address - Rävala püiestee, 3 ( est. Rävala puiestee , 3). The third general and the first post-Soviet high-rise hotel in the city, built by Finnish and Estonian builders in 2001.

History

An investment of almost 624 million Estonian kroons (approx. 40 million euros) in the project in this project was considered by Radisson SAS as the largest so far in Estonia. The owners of the Tallinn project were the Finnish construction concern SRV Development OY, [1] Finnish Finnfund, SAS Hotel Investment from Denmark, and the Central and Eastern European Investment Fund (IÖ-Fonden) also from Denmark [2] . The architects Vilen Künnapu ( est. Vilen Künnapu ) and Ain Padrik ( est. Ain Padrik ) worked on the project . [3] An open day was held for all residents of the city on February 1, 2001. Celebrities such as Bill Clinton , Jiang Zemin , Jacques Chirac , George Walker Bush , Anders Fogh Rasmussen , Hillary Clinton , Andrea Bocelli , Alice Cooper were guests of the hotel.
