Before the race

Sebastien Buemi lost five positions on the starting grid due to a collision with Nick Heidfeld during the German Grand Prix ^[1] .

This Grand Prix was the 100th for Nico Rosberg , the 200th for the Toro Rosso team, the 100th for the V8 2.4-liter engines and the 850th in history. Jenson Button in the race made his 200th start in his career (he also participated in two grand prix but did not start).
