Rural settlement "Maklino Village"

The rural settlement "Maklino Village" is located in the north of the Maloyaroslavets district, southeast of the city of Maloyaroslavets .

In the years 1627-29. according to the sovereign of Mikhail Fedorovich of all Russia, the decree Vasily Ivanovich Kolychev and the clerk Vasily Rozhkov wrote and measured estates and estates in the Maloyaroslavets district. The result was the scribe book of the Maloyaroslavets district of 1627-29. This is the first historical document in which the village of Maryinsky is mentioned, on the Karizha river, Gorodoshevskaya volost, Maloyaroslavets district. In the XVII-XVIII centuries, the village of Maryinsky, later the village of Maryino belonged to Prince. Shcherbatov, genus Prince. Shcherbatov comes from Prince Chernigov. Ancestor of Prince Vasily Andreevich Obolensky nicknamed Shcherbaty (XVII knee from Rurik). In 1764, in the village. Macklino built a stone church in the name of the Archangel Michael.

There are two manor houses in the estate: one stone, the other wooden. Peasant yards are located behind the road opposite the linden park, which has a rectangular shape (the park has survived to our time). Since 1794, N.E. Myasoedov owned the village. Since 1818, N.A. In 1914, 191 people lived in the village of Maklino; including 96 husband and 95 wives.

In 1918, the village of Maryino was renamed Maklino. From the minutes of the meeting of the Mariinsky volost executive committee of 10.22.1918 “to commemorate the anniversary of the October Revolution and according to the will expressed by the population of the volost, rename village Maryino into village Maklino, in honor of the English fighter for the work-peasant cause comrade Macklin”.

The rural settlement “Maklino Village” was established in 2004 .

The fate of the church in the name of the Archangel Michael was decided 01/26/1930. From the minutes of the meeting of the Maloyaroslavets Executive Committee “to provide the Macklin church for storage of rural material, according to the petition, the Bolshevik commune, and in 1950 a workshop was organized in the church building.

In connection with the battle in the city of Maloyaroslavets in 1812, the report to the Kaluga governor from the Maloyaroslavets district police officer Protasov is interesting, which lists the monuments in the Maloyaroslavets district. From this report we learn that in the village of Maryin, in the church fence, there is a mass grave on which there is a cross with the inscription "in this place are buried Russian soldiers who fell in battle with the French." To date, the mass grave has not been preserved.
