The Kuala Lumpur flag is the official symbol of the Malaysian federal territory of Kuala Lumpur . It is a panel of three parts. The middle part is blue with a yellow crescent and a 14-pointed star at the pole edge. The remaining two parts consist of six lanes (three red and three white) each. At the top and bottom edges are red stripes.
