Jacob Taio Cruz ( born April 23, 1985 ) is a British Nigerian-Brazilian singer, songwriter, producer, rapper and entrepreneur. [1] In 2008, he released his debut album Departure , which Cruz wrote himself. He brought his first UK success and MOBO awards. In June 2010, Cruz released his next album, Rokstarr , which included the single “Break Your Heart”. In November 2010, collaborated with Kylie Minogue and Travis McCoy for the single Higher. In addition, Cruz wrote the song Telling the World for the cartoon Rio .

Biography
Early life
Cruz was born in London to the family of Jacob Cruz, born in Nigeria and Sylvia Cruz, who is originally from Brazil . He also attended Christ hospitals and schools in West Sussex . [2] [3]
Career start
Cruz began writing songs when he was still 12. And he began his career at the age of 19 as part of the Tricky Stewart team at RedZone Entertaiment. [4] Cruz achieved fame in 2005 when he was awarded the BRIT Awards. [five]
Cruz is the founder and CEO of Rokstarr Music London, which released his debut album “ I Just Wanna Know ”. The record aroused interest from the radio, as well as specialists in the music industry.
