Dentà ( Chinese: 灯塔 , pinyin : Dēngtǎ ) is a city county in the Liaoyang City District of Liaoning Province ( PRC ).

History
In 1968, the Dent district was designated from the city of Liaoyang, so named after the village of Dent located on its territory. In 1980, the district was upgraded to a county, and in 1996 the county was transformed into a city county.

In the south, Denta City County borders on the Guangchanlin and Taijihe Regions, as well as Liaoyang County. In the north-west, it borders with the territory of the city of sub-provincial significance of Shenyang , in the northeast - with the Benxi urban district.
