Homeomerism

Homeomeria ( dr. Greek homoioméreia from ὅμοιος , “similar, similar, equal” + μερίς , “part, share”) is a term introduced by Aristotle to refer to the concept of an elementary principle, the smallest element of any quality ( seed ) in Anaxagoras philosophy. The latter believed that certain seeds correspond to each body, and there are as many types of seeds as there are bodies of different quality. According to some reconstructions, this means that matter was thought in eternity and indestructible in homeomeries with all the changes and destruction of individual things. The term “homeomerism” itself does not appear in Anaxagoras texts that have reached us (it speaks of “seeds” or “species”) and probably arose later. The idea of homeomerism is connected with the idea of " everything in everything ."
