Biography
Emelyan Feoktistovich was born on August 7, 1925 in the village of Makarovo, Irkutsk Region . In 1935, after the death of his father, the whole family moved to the village of Losinki in the Moscow region . In 1943 he was drafted into the army and fought until 1944, wounded, spent eight months in hospitals. [one]
In 1949 he graduated from the Odessa Art College , from 1950 to 1952 he studied at the Moscow Art Institute of Applied Arts , in 1956 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after Vera Ignatyevna Mukhina in the monumental department. Thesis - painting "Andrei Rublev." [one]
In 1960 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR . In 1957-1967 he took part in the All-Union and international art exhibitions. Since 1960 he worked in the House of Creativity named after D. N. Kardovsky in the city of Pereslavl. [one]
He died on June 8, 1967, was buried in Moscow at the Vagankovsky cemetery . [one]
