Biography
L. S. Knyazev was born on August 20 ( September 2 ), 1917 in Moscow into a family of employees. The family had seven children: Andrei, Sergey, Leonid, Elena, Irina, Tatiana and Evgenia. Lived on the Big Yakimanka. His father, Sergey V. Knyazev, a lawyer by training, was a Trade Deputy in the Moscow State Administration, which is recorded in the state archives of the city of Moscow. He graduated from the school of the FZS, entered the theatrical college, after which he became an artist of the Moscow Art Theater . After 5 years, he moved to the ensemble of the NKVD , then became an artist of the spoken genre of the USSR Tour Bureau. In 1952-1959 - the leading actor MTDC . Since 1966 - an actor, since 1968 - the director of the CKDYUF named after M. Gorky . As a second director, he worked on the films “When I Will Be a Giant, ” “Hope , ” “Silver Pipes , ” “Old House , ” “Screen Star , ” “Peasant's Son , ” “Almanzora Rings,” and others.
Children and grandchildren L.S. Knyazev live in Moscow.
L. S. Knyazev died on September 9, 1983 . He was buried in Moscow at the Vagankovsky cemetery . Plot number 39.
