Best Day Ever (SpongeBob Series)

Spongebob has come "The best day." However, things did not turn out the way he supposed. The “best day” was supposed to start in the restaurant “Krusty Krab”, but it was captured by nematodes , and Bob with the help of his whistling nose took them away. Later, Bob goes to Sandy on a plan to compete in karate. Unfortunately, it did not succeed - Sandy has a leak in the dome. By chance, Spongebob stops the flow of his sticky glove. And on Medusy Polyany with Patrick woe - his net broke. Spongebob gives him a spare, but he also breaks. Bob had to give Patrick his super modern net “2000 Deluxe Pro”. He foolishly leaves it to himself ^[2] .

Spongebob upset because he could not do anything. Only Squidward’s clarinet concert remains. But Squid tells him that the mouthpiece has broken. Bob pulls out a tooth with all his might and replaces the mouthpiece with it, but the ticket collector does not allow Bob's Sponge, demanding a ticket. After some attempts to get into the hall, Bob still manages to get into the hall, because the ticket attendant heard his name (Sponge Bob is an honored guest). Unfortunately, Bob has time only for the end of the concert.

Poor Sponge Bob was angry and shouted into the microphone to the public that the “best day” was spoiled. But friends remind him of how he helped them in personal affairs. Sponge Bob calms down and decides to arrange a performance in which all his plans come true. A few hours later, Bob could not calm down and sings without stopping, his friends were very tired, and the audience left.

“The Best Day” was broadcast in the United States on November 10, 2006 during the 30th anniversary of the Nickelodeon channel. At this time there was a marathon of 100 episodes of the animated series. Pirate Patches, played by Tom Kenny , presented this marathon on a boat in the harbor of New York . Viewers voted for the episodes they liked ^[3] . The marathon went from November 9 to 10 and ended with the TV premiere of the full-length cartoon ^[4] .

Tom Aschem, executive vice president and general manager of Nickelodeon Digital Television, explained that the channel began using modern technology to make television viewers interested in TV shows ^[5] .

In the series there was a song in which Sponge Bob sings about the delights of the day. The song was included in two albums - "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Best Day Ever" ^[6] , and the soundtrack to the feature film "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Music from the Movie and More ...", as the song sounded in the closing credits. ^[7] .

The marathon raised the “Nickelodeon” rating to 6 million viewers, which was the channel’s highest rating. The promo site was visited by 3 million people, and the series was downloaded by 5 million ^[8] .
