Biography
It originated from the ancient Russian family of Danilovich , the coat of arms “ Sas ” known in Chervona Rus since the time of King Danila Galitsky [1] . The youngest son of Stanislav Danilovich (about 1520 - 1577 ) and Katarzyna Tarlo (about 1535 - 1582/1583 ).
In his youth he fought with the Crimean Tatars. In 1594 - 1596 he took part in the suppression of the Cossack-peasant uprising led by Severin Nalyvayko . He was Kravchim of the Polish Queen Anne of Austria . During the time of the anti-royal rokosh under the leadership of Nikolay Zebrzydowski ( 1606 - 1609 ), Jan Danilovich was an intermediary in concluding a treaty in Janovce .
He presented the village of Subotov to his Cossack centurion Mikhail Khmelnitsky [2] , the father of Bogdan-Zinovy Khmilnyky .
In 1616, Yan Danilovich founded the city of Krylov "on the Tatar promise." In 1625, Jan Danilovich took part in the Battle of Kurukovo Lake .

He was married twice. In 1594 he married his first marriage to Katharine Krasitskaya, from marriage with whom he had three daughters. In 1605, he again married Sophia Zolkiewski (c. 1590–1634), the daughter of the hetman of the great crown Stanislav Zolkiewski and Regina Gerbut, from whose marriage he had two sons and a daughter.
Children from first marriage
- Katerina Danilovich - issued for the head of the meditsky, captain Andrei Firley.
- Dorota Magdalen (1600? -1685) - a three-year-old Benedictine monastery given to Lviv , since 1640 the abbess of the monastery.
- Marciana Konetspolskaya (1600? —1646) - from 1620/21 married to Colonel Stefan Konetspolsky. Because of his father’s refusal to give permission for marriage with Marciana, Adam Zolkiewski died.
Children from second marriage
- Stanislav Danilovich (1611-1636) - the elder of Korsun and Chigirin , with his detachment surrounded by Murza Cantemir , was captured and executed.
- Jan Danilovich - died on September 22, 1618 .
- Sofia Theophilia (1607–1661) - married to Yakub Sobieski since 1627 . Mother of the King of the Commonwealth, Jan III Sobieski .
