Juuka ( Fin. Juuka , Swede. Juga ) - a community in eastern Finland , in the province of North Karelia . The population is 5436 people (as of January 31, 2012) [1] ; area - 1 846.57 km², of which 344.78 km² are occupied by water. The population density is 3.71 people / km². The official language is Finnish (native to 98.3% of the population).
