FC Volga Ulyanovsk in the 2008 season

The 2008 season was the 12th in the Russian history of the Volga football club Ulyanovsk . Having won the PFL Second Division in the Ural-Volga zone, the next year Volga got the opportunity to play in the First Division . As a result of the championship, Volga flew back to the Second League PFL , taking 17th place. In the Russian Cup , Volga lost to Metallurg Lipetsk in the 1/32 final.
