Beechwood Avenue Beechwood Avenue ( Ottawa Road No. 44 , Ottawa Road # 44 ) is a major street in the eastern part of Ottawa . It runs from west to east in the New Edinburgh area and then in the northern part of the Wannier area.

It starts from St. Patrick’s Bridge by the Rideau River , which is a continuation of St. Patrick’s Street, which runs from Alexandra’s Bridge over Lowtown . For some time, the street runs along the Beechwood Cemetery , where it passes into Hamlock Road , going east to the territory of the Rockliff training airfield.
The western part of the street is a commercial district with a large variety of shops, and closer to the cemetery it goes into residential areas.
