Nicholas Street

Nicholas Street Nicholas Street is a major motor artery in central Ottawa in the east of the Sandy Hill area . Connects Motorway 417 to the city center.

It goes from north to south. It starts at the intersection with Rideau Street , where the skyscraper is located - the Nicholas Street One business center. Further, down to Lorie Avenue, it is a one-way street to the south (traffic north from Lorie Avenue goes through Waller Street ). Then, south of Lorie Avenue , it turns into a highway running along the Rideau Canal parallel to the eastern and southern borders of the University of Ottawa and a bus high-speed transit road (Lorie and Campus terminals).
