Mechanized Gauge Bridge (KMM) is a temporary mechanized structure designed to ferry wheeled and tracked vehicles weighing up to 15 tons through obstacles up to 35 m wide and up to 3 m deep.

Technical Description

The KMM kit includes five spreaders .

The bridge layer consists of a ZIL-157 E car ( ZIS-151 ), on which are installed:

  • lifting frame;
  • back and front support;
  • frame lifting mechanism;
  • cable mechanism;
  • two outriggers;
  • additional electrical appliances;
  • auxiliary equipment.

The bridge unit includes:

  • span structure;
  • support;
  • longitudinal extensions;
  • entrance shields;
  • anchor boards.

Bridge block

Span:

  • span length - 7000 mm;
  • width in the bridge line - 2950 mm;
  • track gauge - 1075 mm;
  • width gauge - 800 mm;
  • flooring - from boards 3 mm thick;
  • weight - 1420 kg.

Support:

  • type - frame with a movable crossbar;
  • limits of change in height - from 1000 to 3000 mm;
  • pitch of change in height - 50 mm;
  • width along the axes of the struts in the bridge line - 3950 mm;
  • weight - 445 kg.

Entrance shields:

  • type - box-shaped, welded;
  • fastening to ruts - with pins;
  • fastening on the ground - with anchor stakes;
  • weight - 37 kg.

Bridge Stacker

The weight:

  • without bridge block - 6900 kg;
  • with a bridge block - 8790 kg.
