“Tunnels” is a literary cycle of six 6 books, written by the authors Roderick Gordon And Brian Williams in 2007–2011. The cycle was advertised as the “new Harry Potter ” and the rights to it in the UK belong to the publisher of Harry Potter, Bloomsbury Publishing [1] .
Books tell about father and son, archaeologists. One day, Will's father disappears and his son must find a lost parent, but instead young Will Burroughs finds an underground city inhabited by evil creatures that look like humans.
The first five books were translated by AST . Total books of the cycle are translated into fifteen languages [2] . In 2010, preparations began for the adaptation of the first book [3] .
