Story
John Baker, Jr. ( Lucas Haas ) is tired of life in high society and is not satisfied with the prospect of a grocery store chain manager. His life turns upside down when he rescues Patty Weir ( Winona Ryder ), who has lost consciousness. Patty comes to himself in John's room. She assured him that she did not need medical care, but then again lost consciousness and did not recover until the next morning. Later, romantic relationships begin between people that lead to a dramatic confrontation with close friends of John Baker.
