Dosipheus (Zabela)

Bishop Dosipheus ( Zabela ; d. February 2, 1544 ) - Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church , Bishop of Sarai (Sarsky) and Podonsky .

He was rector of the Kiev Pechersk Monastery , and in 1506-1507. Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius .

On January 23, 1508, he was ordained bishop of Sarsky and Podonsky on Krutitsy .

In 1531 he participated in the trial of Maxim Grek , in particular, conducted his interrogation [1] .

In 1535 he participated in the arrangement of Moscow saints: Peter , Jonah and Alexy in new crayfish.

He died on February 2, 1544. Buried in Krutitsy.
