Technical Description

The set of bridge building equipment for the KMS includes a pile-driving and piling ferry, a ferry with jacks on two DL-10 boats and an auxiliary boat DL-10 .
Pile-building ferry is mounted on four pontoons, pairwise interconnected using telescopic trusses. Piling equipment was mounted on the ferry in the form of two paired pile drivers with four pile driving diesel hammers, which made it possible to simultaneously drive four piles.
The ferry with jacks is mounted on two DL-10 boats, interconnected by telescopic runs, and equipped with jacks. This ferry is intended for the construction of bridges on frame supports, the laying of finished spans on pile supports.
The steam is towed by two outboard motors.
The auxiliary boat DL-10 with an outboard motor is designed for the delivery by water of the elements of pile supports and the transportation of personnel of service crews.

The KMS set, unlike the KMS-E, was transported in 5 vehicles ( KMS-E in four). The embankment part of the ferry was transported in two cars and consisted, like the piling part, of two bow pontoons of the CCI fleet.
