" Monster " is the song of the American alternative rock band Paramore , which became the second single from the soundtrack for the movie Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon . The single was released June 7, 2011 in digital format . “Monster” is the band’s first song recorded without the participation of Josh and Zach Farro , who left the band in 2010.

In the first three days, the number of views of the Monster video clip exceeded 1,000,000 [2] [3] .
Song Information
John Blistain, in a review for Billboard magazine , noted the powerful sound of guitars, drums and vocals by Hayley Williams in the chorus of the song [4] . Williams herself stated that the group was "delighted to have become part of the album from Transformers" and "Paramore is back!" [5] . The video for the song was shot in Los Angeles ; directed by Shane Drake [6] [7] The video premiered on MTV.com on July 18, 2011 [8] .
