History

Mentioned from 1704 as the "village" of Osushka; later, the village in the parish of Ishovo village was part of the Pochep (1st) hundred of the Starodub regiment . Before World War II , the Ukrainian population prevailed.

From 1782 to 1918 in Mglinsky district, county (since 1861 - as part of Vorobeyn volost ); in 1918 - 1929 - in Pochep county (Vorobeynskaya, since 1924 - Balyk volost ). Since 1929 - in the Zhiryatinsky district, and with its temporary disbandment ( 1932 - 1939 , 1957 - 1985 ) - in the Pochep district .
Until 2005, it was a member of the Vorobeynsky Village Council.
