Geographical position
Chateau Vouet is located 45 km southeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Sotzelen in the northeast, Vyuis in the east, Ampot in the southwest, Doom in the west, Burljonkur in the northwest.
History
- The former Castell-Vouet was part of the bishopric of Metz in the XIV century , then belonged to the families of de Ratsarnhozan and de Germini until the middle of the XVI century and the de Yunolsten family until the end of the XVIII century .
- In 1981, the commune was merged with Daedlen.
Demographics
According to the 2007 census, 113 people lived in the commune.
