Demographics
As of January 31, 2011, 450 people live in the Vārde community: 234 men and 216 women. [3]
Finnish is native for 4.87% of residents, Swedish - for 88.94%. Other languages are native to 6.19% of the community.

Attractions
Church vordeau
- On the island of Vorde there is the Aland school museum.
- In the village of Lövø there is a museum of the native land - Sefers.
- Vordeau is an island of culture and art. Here lived a writer - Annie Blomqvist. Her novel: “Maya of Stormshkher” is widely known in Europe.
- The novel by local writer Sally Salminen "Katrina" is also very famous.
- In Ivanov, the day and evening at the summer solstice (midsommarafton) decorate every native village according to Vardø in every possible way. Everywhere folk music plays. The dance evening lasts until the morning in Tötfö, on the dance floor of Beulans.
