Finström ( Swede. Finström ) is a community in Finland , on the Åland Islands . The population is 2528 people (as of January 31, 2012) [1] ; area - 172.48 km², of which 49.23 km² is occupied by water. The population density is 20.51 people / km². The official language is Swedish (native to 93.8% of the population); Finnish is native to 3.4% of the population; other languages - for 2.9% of the population.
