Kaharam ( Malayal. കകാരം ) - ka, the 14th letter of the Malayalam alphabet , at the beginning of the word, in the double position and in the ligature in front of the other consonant means deaf velar explosive consonant "ka", in the intervocal position denotes deaf glottal slit consonant "ha". Akshara-sankhya - 1 (one).
Ligatures: kka - ക്ക.

- -kky - end of the dative case of nouns.
- -cal - the ending of plural nouns.
- -uha - ending vocabulary form of verbs.
- -ko - the end of the imperative form of the singular verb.
