Kaharam ( Malayal. കകാരം ) - ka, the 14th letter of the Malayalam alphabet , at the beginning of the word, in the double position and in the ligature in front of the other consonant means deaf velar explosive consonant "ka", in the intervocal position denotes deaf glottal slit consonant "ha".
