"Black Beauty" ( Eng. Black Beauty ), also " Black Beauty ", is the debut film of the American director Caroline Thompson based on the novel of the same name by the famous English novelist Anna Sewell . The main roles in the film were played by Andrew Nott , Sean Bean and David Thewlis . This is the fifth television adaptation of the novel (1877).

Story
The plot of the film tells about the difficult fate of a beautiful black stallion. Black Beauty was born at the farmer Gray. The fortified horse is sold to the Gordon family, where the Handsome man meets real friends: Ginger, Frolicker and Caretaker Joe. However, Mrs. Gordon's health makes the family move to warmer climes. Horses are being sold. Black Beauty and Ginger fall under the patronage of the cowardly lady Wexmire, where Ginger is driven and Beauty is crippled. Soon, friends are waiting for the next change and new owners. The horse is bought by a young carrier Jerry Barker, who, although he lives poorly, but tirelessly takes care of Black Jack. However, Jerry’s affairs do not go well and the family has no choice but to leave the city and move to the village. A handsome man is sent to a grain merchant, where they are hard to drive in two years. A thin, barely alive horse is put up for sale. But here happiness is smiling at the Beauty: he sees an old friend Joe, who buys back the favorite animal from childhood. The life of the Black Beauty is again illuminated by the sun.
